This traditional Peruvian bolero jacket is made from 100% alpaca wool. It features multicoloured hand-stitching, button detail and distinctive embroidery on the elbow.
Customarily worn by women weavers in the Peruvian highlands, these boleros feature intricately hand-embroidered textile and ornate button and bead embroidery. The artisans form part of a cooperative that enables them to sustain their livelihoods by working solely to preserve thousand-year weaving traditions, at the same time teaching a younger generation the skills to do the same.
Size and Fit:
These boleros fit true to size and are tailored to look a little slouchy.
